We are
pleased to announce recruitment for the 2014 College Summer Internship Program.
We are currently recruiting
college and graduate level students through a competitive selection
process. Up to sixteen (16) students can be hired for the 2014 College
Summer Internship Program. This 9-week Program will begin on
Monday, June 16, 2014 and conclude on Friday, August 15, 2014. The
Program will offfer students an opportunity to gain valuable work experience in
the Maritime, Aviation, Commercial Real Estate, Engineering, Finance,
Communications, Corporate Administrative, Social Responsibility or other areas
of Port business. Internship assignments will be located at the Port
administration building at 530 Water Street, the Oakland International Airport
or in the Port maritime area.

The application must also
include the submission of the student's most recent college transcript, 2-3
letters of recommendation from college professors, instructors and/or
advisors, and an Internship Opportunity form with Choice Selection ranked one
to three with one being the student's first choice of placement and three being
the last choice.
