Go See Fruitvale Station!

The movie, Fruitvale Station, about the tragic Oscar Grant shooting in 2008, is opening in select theaters Friday, July 12th. No matter what your view is on the actual incident, this is a huge film for Oakland. It has already received awards at several independent film festivals and much positive buzz in the film industry. Support Oakland and Oscar Grant's memory by seeing this film. If you don't have your ticket already, make sure you pick it up soon. Shows will sell out. The movie opens nationwide on Friday, July 26th.
